cookrating.com acts as a Data Fiduciary under India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023 for personal data processed in connection with cook verification, employer enquiries, and society compliance workflows.
What we process: contact details (name, phone, email, WhatsApp), verification workflow information you submit, and — where KYC is required — identity data handled only through UIDAI-authorised partners. We do not sell personal data.
Purpose & consent: data is used for police-verification assistance, verified profiles, society compliance, and responding to your requests. Processing is based on your consent and/or the legitimate use of fulfilling a service you asked for. We apply purpose limitation and keep retention minimal.
Your rights: you may request access, correction, or erasure of your personal data, and withdraw consent where processing is consent-based, by emailing hello@cookrating.com.
